WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING POLICY?

To secure your date, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required. The retainer must be paid within 24 hours of signing the contract.

-Weddings/Events (90+ days in advance): 25% of the total package cost
-Weddings/Events (less than 90 days in advance): 50% of the total package cost
-Other Sessions: 50% deposit required
The final balance is due 7 days before your session. I cannot hold your date or pencil you in—dates are confirmed once the retainer is received.

IF WE CANCEL OUR BOOKING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK?

Unfortunately, retainers are non-refundable. This ensures that I can manage potential bookings and cover any costs already incurred. However, if something unforeseen occurs, I’ll work with you to find an alternative date, if possible.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

Yes. For any weddings, events, or sessions beyond 50 miles from Prairieville, LA 70769, there is a travel fee of $0.67/mile (round trip). Additional accommodation costs may apply for overnight stays.

HOW SOON AFTER THE SHOOT WILL THE PROOFS BE READY FOR VIEWING?

A sneak preview will be published on my website within one week after the shooting. For portrait sessions, the final online gallery will be available no later than 3 weeks after the shoot date. For weddings/events, the final gallery will be available no later than 8 weeks after the event.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE MY PHOTOS?

Once your gallery is ready, you can order prints or download your images directly at an additional cost. I highly recommend ordering prints through my lab to ensure the highest quality. A print release can be purchased if you'd like to print elsewhere.

DO I HAVE TO PRINT THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE?

No, a print release is included in your contract. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee the quality of any prints that are not created through my selected lab.

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I use a Nikon D7100 with multiple different lenses for most of my sessions. Props and backdrops are available upon request.

CAN I EXTEND THE SESSION ON THE DAY OF?

Depending on availability I can extend your session at an additional cost.

DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, and shots with bad expressions.

CAN I BRNIG MY PET?

ABSOLUTELY! Your pets are part of your family. I do recommend having someone available to hold them while you are taking certain photos.

WEDDING QUESTIONS

WE'VE ALREADY HAD ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS DONE. CAN WE GET A DISCOUNT OFF OF OUR WEDDING PACKAGE?

As engagement sessions are complimentary, they are not included in the wedding package price. The wedding package is based on the time and editing required for your big day. However, you can opt to exchange the engagement session for an anniversary shoot.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO OVER THE CONTRACTED AMOUNT OF TIME?

I understand that weddings don’t always go as planned. If you need more time, I’ll check with you at the end of the contracted hours. If you’d like me to stay, I’ll charge the overtime rate as outlined in the contract, rounded to the nearest 30-minute increment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU'RE SICK ON MY WEDDING DATE?

In the rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding due to illness, I will find and secure a replacement photographer with a similar style. If a replacement isn’t available, you will receive a full refund.

How many pages are in the wedding album

The album includes 30 thick pages that lie flat when opened for seamless spreads.
